The study is devoted to structural and semantic analysis, revealing the contextual and semantic connections of phraseological units using appropriate methods and, finally, the selection of phraseological units, which led to the achievement of the main result of the study — the identification of phraseological units with a transparent inner form as evidence of the realization of phraseological meaning in a contextual environment in the process of forming a dictionary entry for the Russian-English phraseological dictionary being created. As a result, we were able to reflect data on phraseological units with a transparent inner form in contextual use as factual material for a phraseological dictionary entry in a new Russian-English dictionary of phraseological units with a transparent inner form, created in an electronic environment.

Keywords: phraseological unit, transparent inner form, electronic dictionary, phraseological material
