Abstract

UDC 811.161.1(04) DOI 10.20339/PhS.3-25.163

The paper discusses the theoretical approach of receptive literary criticism in connection with new monographs by A.N. Bezrukov. The interest of literary scholars in the text and discourse itself (within the framework of the concept of the “death of the author”) and the interest in the receptive paradigm in literary criticism (“active reader”) are indicative. Within the framework of receptive aesthetics, the possibilities of analyzing concepts in a fiction text are discussed, including points of view that doubt the productivity of conceptual analysis. A feature of modern postmodernist texts discussed by A.N. Bezrukov within the framework of the theory of artistic discourse is the free rhythm and the mode of rhizome manifestation. The paper tackles possible approaches to the study of isotopy in a fiction text. Traditional ideas about the role of language and dialogue are applicable not only to the creation of a fiction text, but also to understanding the process of its reception. The work again, in connection with the description of the semantic paradigm of fiction discourse, raises the question of the unit of meaninh and sense in the text.

Keywords: paradigms of literary criticism, receptive aesthetics, hermeneutics, modern literary text, semantic isotopy
