The first “Dictionary of intercultural communication study terms” presents lexicographic description of terminological units (about 2000), including concepts and terms borrowed from different humanitarian sciences. One of the advantages of the ‘Dictionary’ is “English-Russian terminological index” indicating the terms in English in alphabetical order and in Russian (2998 units). Disadvantages of ‘Dictionary’ are compensated by the fact that it is the first edition. It can be seen as a project which does not have a principled complete effect because of the interdisciplinary nature of intercultural communication.

Keywords: intercultural communication, interdisciplinary, dictionary, term dictionary, English-Russian terminology index, terms’ systematization.
