The article describes in detail the development of the translation and study of M.Y. Lermontov in China in the XXIst century. During these years in China were published 4 monographs on Lermontov. In addition to monographs published also scientific articles that can be attributed to three categories: the study of the novel “A Hero of our time”, the poetic study, macroscopic and comprehensive study. The article noted, what the conference dedicated to the bicentennial birthday of M.Y. Lermontov were organized in China.
